Loudoun Stairs was founded in 1987 by Brent Mercke, a native of Loudoun County and an experienced professional in the construction industry, who began the business after noticing a need for quality custom-made stairs.
Over the years, the company has grown to offer not only indoor stair and rail manufacturing, outdoor and commercial stair and railing manufacturing, and a renovations department as well. Mr. Mercke’s commitment to excellence enables the company to provide superior stair and rail products to nationally-known home-builders, local contractors, commercial builders, renovation companies and homeowners.
As a custom manufacturer, Loudoun Stairs prides itself on its courteous and professional customer service representatives, who are committed to satisfying every customer—before and after the sale—and in its ability to adapt to changing markets in order to suit the needs of every customer. The goal is to produce the highest-quality stairs and rails with the fastest turn-around time, while still maintaining the high standards and integrity for which it is well known, all for the goal of customer satisfaction.
Located in Purcellville, Virginia, Loudoun Stairs is housed in an 80,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and maintains its own fleet of delivery trucks to ensure dependable and timely deliveries. Safety is also high on their list of importance, and all technicians are provided with OSHA-required safety equipment, training and are required to follow company and customer safety policies.
